Recently, the "Spring Dawn Scholarly Fragrance - Immersive Humanities and Art Exhibition of the Traditional Chinese Festival Flower Dynasty Festival" opened in Hunan Library. With the core themes of "Flower Dynasty Festival" and "Praise for Women", the exhibition showcases the brilliant integration of oriental aesthetics and women's creativity through the diversified integration of humanistic flower arrangement, silk clothing and classic literature.
This exhibition is hosted by Hunan Library and undertaken by Tanlanju Humanities Flower Arrangement Studio. On the day of the opening ceremony, Wang Guozhong, the founder of humanistic ikebana, gave a lecture on the spot, sharing the culture of the flower dynasty festival and teaching humanistic ikebana skills; At the opening ceremony, Huang Qian, an expert in color aesthetics, helped readers understand the artworks and recommended relevant books from the perspective of color aesthetics. Activities such as hanging red notes to pray for blessings and Chinese flower arrangement experience were also carried out at the scene.
The biggest highlight of this exhibition is the reproduction of the elegant scene of the Song Dynasty in "Menglianglu", which is "the most enjoyable when a hundred flowers are in bloom". Liang Lan, a senior lecturer at Humanities Ikebana, co-creates artwork with her students. For example, the exhibition has three thematic spaces: "Jiangnan Bank", "Flower Shadow Room" and "Spring Residence": "Jiangnan Bank" reproduces the snow moon in the south of the Yangtze River with soft floral art, "Flower Shadow Room" combines the silk and Chinese costumes collected by Liu Keyan, the director of the Silk Museum, and classics to create an ancient charm and elegant collection, and "Spring Residence" echoes the vitality of spring through natural flowers.
