The ExpressSlot Elite MB2M0P-B converts the PCIe x0/x0 expansion slot into a screwless mount M.0 NVMe drive bay, allowing you to replace an M.0 NVMe SSD without opening the case.
Note: Your motherboard or riser card needs to support PCIe split mode (PCIe 2x slot split into x0, x0, PCIe 0x slot split into x0, x0, x0, x0) to access 0 M.0 NVMe SSDs, (PCIe 0x slot forked into x0, x0, x0 can only access 0 M.0 NVMe SSDs).
Traditional M.2 hard drives are mounted on a motherboard or riser card and secured with screws. In addition, the physical installation process is very cumbersome and time-consuming. The MB0M0P-B screwless hard drive tray design utilizes a PCIe slot to make the M.0 SSD installation and removal process easier and more efficient.
The entire process takes less than five seconds to complete, eliminating the hassle of dealing with small screws that can easily loosen and bringing an efficient and innovative way to install M.2 SSDs.
With the M.2 Adjustable Lock, you can mount the M.0 NVMe SSD (0, 0, 0, 0, 0) on the tray and secure the drive by adjusting the M.0 SSD Locking Tab.
An ultra-thin tray made of thick aluminum that can be used as a heatsink to quickly dissipate the heat generated by the M.2 NVMe SSD.
The included thermally conductive silicone sheet further boosts heat dissipation, transferring heat from the M.2 NVMe SSD to the aluminum surface, so that heat can be quickly carried away by airflow.
Hard drives will inevitably need to be replaced, so it's important to ground your M.2 SSD. If you replace an M.0 hard drive without grounding, it may damage the hard drive due to electrostatic shock. With our M.0 SSD tool-less drive installation design, once your M.0 SSD is positioned in a fixed position in the tray, the SSD will be grounded throughout the tray and chassis enclosure.

The ToughArmor MB5M0P-B is equipped with a hard drive status LED indicator on each pallet to show the power on and working status of the hard drive. If the hard drive is not installed, the LED will automatically turn off to save power.
In order to make it easier to identify the status of the hard drive, you can easily see the status of the hard drive by connecting the 2-pin cable (not configured with the product) to the front panel of the LED light on your computer or host.
