深圳特区报讯（记者 尹春芳）“木棉花开——当代岭南中青年艺术名家邀请展”于4月13日在何香凝美术馆向观众开放。此次展览邀请郑阿湃、林蓝、许晓彬、陈俊宇、许敦平五位中青年艺术家参展，为观众带来一场岭南艺术繁花盛宴。

Kapok is known as the "hero flower", as a unique symbol and cultural symbol of Guangdong, kapok embodies the unique charm of Guangdong culture, carrying the philosophy and belief of Lingnan people. The exhibition uses the "five petals" of kapok to symbolize the fivefold characteristics of the Lingnan spirit, which is vigorous, warm, inclusive, tenacious and new, echoing the academic positioning of He Xiangning Art Museum to "study and display Lingnan culture".

The participating artists used their unique humanistic observations, artistic perspectives, technical vocabulary and aesthetic schemas to deeply explore the value of Lingnan culture and construct Lingnan cultural images in the new era. The works on display are rich and diverse, reflecting the warmth, strength and vitality of the Lingnan cultural spirit in the splendid world of flowers and birds.

The organizer said that the exhibition takes "kapok" as the guide and art as the medium to highlight the spirit of Lingnan culture, provide endogenous power and inject innovative vitality into the high-quality development of Shenzhen culture empowered by art, and highlights the power of the Bay Area in the modern development of Chinese culture and Chinese art.
