It is understood that the National Hemei Rural Basketball Competition (Village BA) is one of the key activities of "Flowing Colors of the Earth - National Rural Culture Revitalization in Action". This year, the national "Village BA" has five supporting activities: "Tide Art Radiance, Village Gathering", "Yuedong Farming, Village Fun", "Pastoral Song, Village Tour", "Race to Start a New Journey, Village Talk", and "Public Welfare to Help Agriculture, Send Sports to the Countryside", and is committed to building the "Village BA" into a rural cultural and sports feast integrating events, farming experience, exhibition and sales of special agricultural products, rural food appreciation, and modern agricultural tourism, and effectively play the important role of sports in empowering the rural economy and helping rural revitalization.

The launching ceremony kicked off with the passionate drumming of the intangible cultural heritage of Guizhou Province "Sizhou War Drum". The song and dance performances with Miao characteristics "Splendid Miao Township", "Mountains and Rivers" and gorgeous national costume shows took turns to appear, and staged a wonderful rural basketball cultural event for the masses.

At the same time as the launching ceremony, there was also the activity of the Earth Liucai Nostalgia Art Troupe entering Taipan Village. The well-known singer Liu Yuanyuan, the famous singer Hu Haiquan, the peasant singer "Brother Big Boat", the young singer Luosang Jiancuo and the representatives of the China Animation Art Troupe jointly took the stage to ignite this basketball carnival with songs, dances and folk songs.

In addition, Sun Hang, the national "Village BA" scoring champion in 2024 years and a member of Yingdian Street Town, Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, was also invited to the scene to give the "Village BA" basketball to the local youth representatives in Guizhou, and held the "Village BA" torch relay ceremony to symbolize the passing of the torch of rural basketball culture.

It is reported that this year's national "village BA" will be carried out in three stages.

第一阶段：4月至6月，进行基层交流赛，鼓励各省份利用农闲、结合农事农季和民俗节庆，自主开展篮球交流活动；

The second stage: from 9 to 0, the regional competition will be held, and the northern competition area (held in Dahu Chenjia Village, Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, Yantai City, Shandong Province), the central competition area (held in Xiaomo Village, Gaoleshan Town, Xianfeng County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province), and the southern competition area (held in Aiguo Village, Xiaoping Town, Chenxi County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province) will combine their respective regional cultural characteristics to create "Village BA" cultural venues with different themes;

第三阶段的全国总决赛，将于10月份重回贵州省黔东南州台江县台盘村举办。

The National Hemei Rural Basketball Competition is guided by the Department of Rural Social Undertakings Promotion of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Department of Mass Sports of the General Administration of Sports, and jointly sponsored by the China Farmers' Sports Association (Central Agricultural Radio and Television School) and the Mass Department of the All-China Sports Federation, the competent departments of agriculture, rural affairs and sports of relevant provinces and the people's governments at the prefectural and municipal levels, and the Chinese Basketball Association provides technical support.
