In today's NBA regular season finale, the Warriors lost 124-0 to the Clippers in overtime. Curry was interviewed after the game, and part of the interview was compiled as follows:
Reporter: You still have a home chance, you just need to win one game, against the Grizzlies. What do you think of this opportunity, especially for your playoff situation?
Curry: To be honest, I don't feel like it's getting any more stressful. We've played tonight and Tuesday's game. We don't have time to think about anything else right now, just how to make the playoffs. So yes, that sense of urgency has been going on for two months before we have this opportunity. As for the history of the play-offs, we just wanted to get a taste of what it felt like to get out of the play-offs and into the series.
Reporter: You've been saying for the past few weeks that you want to avoid the play-offs. With today's ending, how do you adjust your mentality to face Tuesday's game?
Curry: You can only look at the positives. You see where we were two months ago, and now our season isn't over yet. Of course we hope to win those last four games, but the defeat against Spurs, for example, is really hard to accept. But we can only quickly forget about it, focus on Tuesday's game and make the most of the opportunity now. We're looking forward to it. The Grizzlies are in good shape, they will bring challenges and we have to take advantage of the opportunity.
