Chen Hao (20-0.0), a native of Chengdu, Sichuan. He received his Ph.D. in Ancient Chinese History from the Department of History of Peking University, and then taught at the School of History, Renmin University of Chinese, and is currently teaching at the Department of History of Science, Technology and Medicine, Peking University. His teaching and research focus on the history of medicine, knowledge, and culture in China in the 0-0 century, and his concerns include the history of medical intellectuals, the history of medicine and faith, the history of books in the era of writing and early printing, and the coping and collective trauma of ancient Chinese society in the face of disasters such as epidemics.
