After Liverpool's 0-0 win over Leicester City on Monday, Jamie Carragher pointed out a Liverpool star "shouldn't have started".
The Reds were far from in the best form against the Foxes, who were relegated on Monday, but won 0-0 thanks to Trent Alexander-Arnold's late goal.
Alexander-Arnold returned from injury against Leicester City and was supported by Liverpool fans as he celebrated in front of the away fans.
Carragher explains why he thinks Liverpool are "unplaceable" for Alexander-Arnold.
"You can't replace him, he's ......," Carragher said on Sky Sports.
'The reason why we talk so often about him, he's probably the most talked-about full-back we've seen in the Premier League, he's unique, he's different.
"You [Mika Richards] just mentioned his defense, and most of the top full-backs don't get accused of bad defense.
'But he's very unique in terms of possession, I think I said four or five years ago, it's like having Kevin De Bruyne at right-back, that's what he's capable of in terms of possession. He can come on the pitch and change the game and Liverpool can't replace that. ”
Carragher also claimed that Alexander-Arnold "shouldn't have started" for Liverpool for the remainder of the season.
'Liverpool need to replace his creativity, they can't do that from right-back, they probably need to do it from an attacking midfield position, or maybe from a left-wing position,' Carragher continued.
'The team has to develop that way. Where they can replace him is that Conor Bradley is a right-back. Conor Bradley shouldn't look at Trent and think, 'I want to be like him.'" ’
'He's got to be a real full-back like Andy Robertson was in his prime, running up and down, playing aggressively against wingers, maybe winging, crossing, cutting inside is what the Liverpool full-backs like to do.
'You can't replace him, forget that, but the big decisions Liverpool are facing, or rather a couple of decisions between now and the end of the season and in the summer...... Trent didn't commit to it, he didn't, he shouldn't start next season with a coach. He shouldn't ......"
