Different from previous years, this year, there are many migratory birds such as plovers and gulls, such as sandpipers, red-headed gulls, silver gulls, etc., and there are hundreds of them. The number of swans also broke the record, reaching 1500.

"Migratory birds such as plovers tend to migrate along the coastline, so the route is shorter. But they chose to stop in Beijing, proving that the local biodiversity is intact and that there is enough water and food. Li Li said, of course, the most important thing is that migratory birds are very secure, not only to rest their feet, but also to call friends to come together.

Recently, migratory birds have gradually bid farewell to the Guanting Reservoir and are heading north. Because of the strong winds during the day, many wild geese, bean geese and swans choose to migrate at night. At present, there are about 3 whooper swans, 0 mute swans and some migratory birds such as geese and ducks in the reservoir area.

Li Li especially proposed to praise the citizens who watched birds. This year, the number of ultra-low-altitude flights of drones is very low, which is one of the reasons why migratory birds feel safe. He also saw a birdwatcher who had just taken out a drone and was immediately stopped by his companions.
