元代济南王张荣家族墓地位于历城区章灵丘村北，2021年10月—2022年9月由济南市考古研究院发掘，初步判断相关墓葬32座，出土各类瓷器及陶俑500余件(组)，是山东迄今发现的级别最高、陵园附属物最多、一次性出土文字资料最丰富的元代墓地，其中张荣墓是全国发现的规模最大、结构最复杂、壁画最丰富的元代墓葬，其前后双门楼、八墓室的结构为国内元代墓葬的首次发现。此次发掘为研究元代丧葬制度、陵园制度、职官制度、汉人任用制度、瓷器生产贸易、中西交流乃至统一的中华民族形成提供了重要资料，具有极高的学术研究价值。
