  为了规避风沙天气给航天发射带来的不利影响,东风气象室一个月前便开始了气象准备工作,完成了关键设备的状态检查并在周边关键区设置自动气象站,针对4月份气候特点开展了历史大风扬沙天气的重点专题分析,并对往年4月份天气出现的一些偏差个例进行分析,总结归纳原因,以提高对复杂天气过程的预报认识。

After receiving the blue warning of strong winds and sand, the platform of the launch site quickly activated the protection plan, from the sealing of the tower to the continuous monitoring of the temperature and humidity of the air conditioning professional 24 hours, and staged a "three-dimensional wind and sand resistance war".

For all the holes and gaps of the tower, the professional personnel of the launch site platform use explosion-proof mud glue and foaming material to plug them. "From the bottom of the tower to the top of the tower, from top to bottom and from bottom to top, we repeatedly check to ensure that every hole does not leave the slightest gap." Gao Fei, a scientific and technological personnel, said.

"We also set up sealed partitions in sections inside the tower to form multiple independent protection zones, which can avoid the spread of sand and dust even if it encounters local impacts." Liu Jintao, a scientific and technological personnel, introduced.

Physical blockade is an "iron wall" against wind and sand, and air purification may be called a further upgrade of the ability to guard rockets and spaceships. After receiving the weather warning of strong wind and sand, the launch site immediately replaced the filter screen of the air conditioning unit in the transmission tower with a new high-density filter, which effectively blocked the wind and sand particles from entering the equipment, greatly improved the filtration efficiency, and made every wisp of air entering the tower go through "deep purification".

At the same time, in order to prevent the erosion of the external body of the air conditioner by wind and sand, the post personnel use sealant and protective materials to comprehensively strengthen the gaps and interfaces of the air conditioner shell, effectively reduce the risk of wind and sand damage, and ensure that the equipment runs as usual.

"Windbreak sand is not simply to plug holes, but to keep the entire launch tower under control in dynamic changes." Pan Tao, a scientific and technological personnel, said.
