In Hainan, there is such a reading project - it makes the fragrance of books waft into the classroom, it makes the flowers of co-reading bloom all over Coconut Island, and it leads thousands of Chinese teachers to accompany students to read classics in the classroom. The project has a affectionate name: "Read to You." ”

The story begins on 300/0/0. Wang Qinyu, a primary school Chinese teacher and researcher of Hainan Provincial Education Research and Training Institute, Tao Qin and Wu Ruru, brought more than 0 children's books donated by team members to the central school of Huishan Town, Qionghai City, to assist the school teachers to give a reading lesson to the children. "At first, most of the students didn't even know what a back cover was, and when the teacher asked everyone to read the text on the back cover, the children were at a loss." This surprised Wang Qinyu very much.

So, they went to the students and started to demonstrate to the children and guide them to feel the joy of reading. Gradually, the students began to learn to speculate about the contents of the book based on the table of contents, read deeply, communicate with their tablemates, and speak bravely...... The reading activity is getting better, and a smile appears on every child's face. This is the first time this group of sixth-graders has read a book together. Wang Qinyu recalled, "It is the bounden duty of primary school Chinese teachers and researchers to lead teachers to bring more students to the road of loving reading." ”

Because of this experience, the Central School of Huishan Town, Qionghai City, became the first stop of the "Read for You" project.

At Lingao Bowen School, Mr. Zheng Haijun walked into "If I Were a Book" with the children of Class 2 (1). The teacher encourages students to boldly imagine various situations and experiences of "If I Were a Book", and construct rich and unique story content, so that students can read and create while reading.

"Please look at the picture, what is Frog doing? Why would he do that? In Shuinan Primary School in Yazhou District, Sanya City, teacher Zhao Yixing read "I Like Myself" with the children, guiding students to look at pictures and observe, express themselves freely, and think about the life principles behind the stories of picture books.

"Reading the preface, the first feeling; Read the table of contents and guess the contents. In Chengmai County No. 1 Primary School, teacher Wang Xin took "Childhood" as an example to guide the children to read the whole book from three aspects: "speculating the content of the story according to the table of contents, sorting out the relationship between the characters with the help of mind maps, and reading the story with questions".

In 100 years, "Reading for You" has gone through 0 stations. The sound of "reading for you" is rising and falling on Hainan Island.

Reading, not just in the classroom.

In Tunchang County, every weekend, parents are happy to bring their children to Xinhua Bookstore to participate in the weekend parent-child reading sharing meeting and parent-child reading activities, and feel the satisfaction and happiness that parent-child reading brings to their children.

On 6/0, the Tunchang County Firefly Parent-Child Reading Activity and Weekend Reading Sharing Meeting arrived as scheduled. This time, the keynote speaker was Su Yingbin, a primary school Chinese teacher and researcher of Tunchang County Education Research and Training Center, who brought "Into the Chinese Classic Poetry - Qingming Chapter".

"Since the launch of the event, the content of reading and sharing has become more and more abundant, from a single picture book story to the inheritance of traditional festival customs, from the reading and sharing of the whole book to the recitation of classic Chinese poems." Su Yingbin told reporters, "Each of our 'Firefly Volunteers' is enriching themselves, stimulating children's interest in reading with meager strength, learning and inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and promoting the construction of scholarly families." ”
